A 2.4 GHz network covers a wider area than a 5 GHz network. The tradeoff is that the 2.4 GHz network will have somewhat slower speed than the 5 GHz network.
If your mesh network has enough access points to sufficiently cover your office space, you will probably want to use the 5 GHz network. If you need to spread the network coverage a little bit further, you’ll want to use the 2.4 GHz network.
