How long does the battery in the handset typically last on a single charge? Is the battery replaceable?
The battery charge usually provides up to 7 hours of phone talk time, up to 3.5 hours of speakerphone talking, or up to 5 days on standby mode. The senior phone bundle comes with rechargeable AAA batteries (BT205662) that you can replace by ordering from the manufacturer at www.vtechphones.com.
What emergency features are available?
The senior phone base has a large pre-programmed 911 button that makes it easy to connect with first responders.
You can also set up 911 alerts so that up to three people will automatically be sent a text or email when 911 is called from the Ooma home phone. You can even create a custom 911 alert message with special medical information that you want anyone receiving your alerts to share with emergency personnel.
Ooma Home Phone uses address-based 911. This means that even if the person making the 911 call can’t speak, the address will be relayed to first responders. Just be sure to keep the home address updated at my.ooma.com.
And, last but not least, there are two customizable buttons located below the 911 and Ooma Concierge buttons on the main unit. For example, you can pre-program one of the open buttons with your daughter’s phone number and personalize it with her photo so that you can tap it to speed-dial her with any minor emergencies, or just to say hello.

Yes, all Ooma devices come with a one-year limited warranty for material defects. This means we’ll replace or repair your Ooma device for one year from the date of purchase.
