Extension Monitoring allows a user, like a receptionist, to monitor the status of another Ooma Office user’s extension and to perform a variety of actions with the touch of a single button. The action that will be performed is dependent upon the state of both the monitoring phone and the extension being monitored. Extension Monitoring can be used to:
- See the extension’s status (on-hook, in a call, etc.)
- Speed dial the extension
- Transfer a call to the extension
- Initiate a 3-way phone call with the extension
- See and answer incoming calls to the monitored extension
Up to 20 Extension Monitoring buttons can be configured on a standard Ooma Office account, and up to 60 can be configured on an Ooma Office Pro account
