How to add a new Virtual Receptionist

You can create a Virtual Receptionist by following these instructions:

  1. Log in to office.ooma.com as an administrator and navigate to the Settings page.
  2. Click Add and select Virtual Receptionist from the dropdown menu.
  3. Give the Virtual Receptionist a display name and choose its time zone, which defaults to your company’s time zone.
  4. Configure the following information for your new Virtual Receptionist:
  5. Where calls will be sent
  6. The receptionist’s greeting
  7. The receptionist’s key press assignments
  8. The business and holiday schedule this receptionist will follow
  9. The receptionist’s After Hours/Holiday Menu key press assignments
  10. Click Save.
