How to transfer directly to an extension’s voicemail

A direct transfer to an extension’s voicemail sends the caller to the destination mailbox without any interaction with the person who owns the voicemail box.

Analog phone

1. Press [*][8].
2. Dial the extension number.
3. Hang up.

Ooma IP phone

1. Press the Transfer key.
2. Press [*][*].
3. Dial the extension number.
4. Press the Transfer key again.
5. Hang up.

Yealink IP phone

1. Press the TRAN button.
2. Press [*][*].
3. Dial the extension number.
4. Hang up.

Cisco IP phone

1. Press the xfer softkey.
2. Press [*][*].
3. Dial the extension number.
4. Hang up.

Ooma desptop app

1. Press the Transfer button in the dialer.
2. Choose the extension that will receive the transfer.
3. Click Transfer to Voicemail.
4. The call will disconnect.
