How to manage a fax machine’s phone number and extension

If you have already set up a fax machine with its own extension, you can configure most of its settings by following these instructions:

1. Log in to office.ooma.com as an administrator and navigate to the Settings page.
2. Locate the fax machine that you wish to manage and click the corresponding line.
3. Update the necessary settings.
4. Click Save.

If you would like to update the fax machine’s direct dial phone number, you can do so by following these instructions:

1. Log in to office.ooma.com as an administrator and navigate to the Settings page.
2. Click Phone Numbers.
3. Locate the number that you wish to reassign to the fax machine and click the corresponding line.
4. Choose the fax machine’s extension from the drop-down menu to reassign it as the number’s new destination.
5. Save your changes.
