How to check an extension’s status with Extension Monitoring

When a programmable button is set up to monitor a specific extension, the color and flashing speed of the light beside that button will give you information at a glance about the monitored extension’s status:

• Steady green: The extension is idle
• Steady red: The extension is on an active call
• Fast flashing red: The extension has an incoming call
