Great first month experience

Switching from Verizon to Ooma was very simple. The number port was done in less than a week. I had a half dozen tech questions which were all answered by their instant messaging chat folks very quickly. I got thew premium service with the most important features being voicemail and Nomorobo integration. Unlike some other services the Ooma device can drive multiple home phones. It also supports e911 which is critical.NOTE: the second phone line only works if you have an Ooma phone. That was not clear to me when I purchased it. Not a deal breaker for me but would have been useful.
Would recommend this product
After securing proper equipment for residential use (sales person did not capture or anticipate my need), the service is now working very well and is definitely worth the price. Better product knowledge and recommendations by sales persons can be improved however.
Good quality service at a very affordable pricepoint... almost free.

Good quality and reliability.Decent features for an added price -- standard features are somewhat light.Forwarding an existing number is costly and doesn't function as expected (outbound calls only show a new Ooma number, not my transferred number)

I would recommend Ooma Telo to all my friends, very pleased with its clarity. Live in a rural area and Ooma was the answer!
Wish I would have switched years ago

Pretty easy, works OK, kinda weird in certain ways, but you get accustomed to it I suppose. Inexpensive!

We have had Ooma Telo for a month and so far we really like this system: good quality voice and it works well with all our cordless phones. Love Ooma so far.
Recent cord cutter and I'm impressed with everything from price to features to ease of setup. Porting can take a bit, but well worth the wait.
Wish I would have done it years ago when I thought about it!!!

Porting phone # only took 2 to 3 days. Called Coma and did a force port manually. Port ended up costing $48.00. A little high. $39.00 + tax, I guess. Worth it to keep my #. Only paid $44.00 for base and one handset on black Friday. Thanks Ooma!!! Saving $50.00 a month!
