Ooma’s Giving Tuesday Giveaway Official Rules

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, DO NOT ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES.

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the United States including the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees and their immediate family members (parents, siblings, children and spouse, and any person residing in the same household whether related or not) of Ooma, Inc. (“Sponsor”), and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries, and their advertising and promotion agencies associated with Ooma’s Giving Tuesday Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”), and their respective agents, officers, and directors, and all individuals, including, but not limited to, consultants, independent contractors, temporary or contract employees, former employees and interns, and their immediate family members who within the past six months performed have services for Sponsor are not eligible to enter or win.
Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, and ends at 8:30 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor or its duly authorized representative shall be the determiner of all Sweepstakes-related time periods.
How to Enter: You can enter for free by following these instructions during the Sweepstakes Period. Visit Ooma Business’ Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/OomaBusiness and locate the Giving Tuesday promotional post inviting you to take part in the Promotion. “Like” the post to enter the contest. There is a limit of one entry per participant. Receipt of entry may not be acknowledged.
How to Win: One winner (the “Winner”) will be determined by a random drawing using the selection tool in Woobox.com for the Grand Prize (defined in Section 5, below). The drawing will take place on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. PST. Ooma Business will tag the potential Winner in a comment in the promotional post on Facebook within 48 hours after the drawing. The potential Winner must successfully reply to Sponsor within 48 hours after being tagged in the promotional post on Facebook or Sponsor may elect to award the prize to the next eligible entrant. If Sponsor is unable to successfully contact or communicate with a potential Winner, Sponsor may elect to award the prize to the next eligible entrant(s).
Prize: One Winner will receive a $300 Amazon gift card.
ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL TAXES, INCLUDING INCOME TAX, ARE SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. Any difference between the stated estimated value of the prize and its actual value will not be awarded. Winner agrees to accept the prize “as is.”
Odds of winning: The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries during the Sweepstakes Period.
Donation: Beginning November 8, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. PST and ending on November 30, 2021 at 8:30 p.m. PST, Ooma, Inc. will make a $1 donation for each Like on its Giving Tuesday Facebook post to be divided among the following non-profit organizations: Think Together, Junior Achievement, SCORE, and U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, with a maximum donation of $1,000 per organization. Information concerning these organizations including financial, licensing or charitable purpose may be obtained at their websites: Think Together, Junior Achievement, SCORE, and U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce . In the event any of these organizations is legally unable to accept, or declines to accept, a donation from Sponsor, that organization’s portion of the donation will be reallocated among the other organizations.
Prize Restrictions: The Prizes are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Sponsor is not required, but has discretion to offer substitutions, a cash redemption or alternative to a prize awarded under this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize is unavailable.
General Entry Rules: Any entrant who attempts or otherwise encourages others to manipulate or create multiple entries will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to take any and all measures it deems necessary to ensure a fair Sweepstakes. Incomplete entries are ineligible, disqualified and void. Sponsor is not responsible for circumstances that may limit or otherwise restrict the ability to participate including, but not limited to: (i) late or incomplete entries; (ii) errors that occur in Winner notification or other Sweepstakes-related communications; (iii) or for any posting errors in these Official Rules. If an error results in more prizes being claimed than the number stated in these Official Rules, those entrants will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes available.
If for any reason the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as described in these Official Rules, Sponsor shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes and select the Winner from entries received or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.
Release: By entering, entrants and the Winner agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, successors, and assigns, may use (unless prohibited by law) Winner’s Facebook post, name, likeness, image, photograph, voice, city/state of residence, biographical information and the prize for advertising, trade and promotion in any media or format, including social media without further compensation, permission or notification, except where prohibited by law. Winner may be required to sign and return to Sponsor an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate.
Entrants expressly waives the provisions of Section 1542 of the California Civil Code and any other statutes, rules, laws, ordinances, or common law principles or other authority of any jurisdiction, and further waives any right to invoke said provisions now or in the future with regard to the Sweepstakes. Entrants and Winner further acknowledge and agree that this waiver is an essential and material term of these Official Rules and the Sweepstakes.
Governing Law: Except to the extent pre-empted by federal or other applicable state law, the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions thereof. Entrants understand and agree that all claims, disputes or controversies between entrant and the Sweepstakes Entities shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration in the County of Santa Clara, State of California. By entering, entrants voluntarily and knowingly waive any right they have to a jury trial.
Winner List and Official Rules: Individuals may request the name of the Winner by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope by January 1, 2022, to: Ooma, Inc., 525 Almanor Avenue Suite 200 Sunnyvale, CA 94085.

Residents of WA and VT may omit return postage for rules requests.
