Checking the Status of a Number Transfer

There are two main sources for porting status updates. One is email notifications sent to your email account associated with your Ooma account. Please make sure to add “@ooma.com” to your safe senders to ensure you will receive all of our email notifications about your port.

The second source will be My Ooma Porting Status page. This page will show you an up-to-date status for your port request. You can see the number you have entered to be ported, the carrier you are porting from, the name on the phone bill and the account number with the carrier. You can also see the estimated date of completion as well as any issues your port request might have encountered during the porting process.
