How do I port my number to Ooma?

If your existing phone number is eligible, you can transfer it to Ooma for a one-time fee. You can check whether your number is eligible at ooma.com/port.

Once you've confirmed that your number can be ported, log in to My Ooma and visit Store > ServicesNumber Port. Enter your phone number, add it to your cart, and fill out the short questionnaire (current internet provider, type of connection, service address). Complete the Letter of Authorization form and check out.

Porting typically takes 7–10 business days. Be sure to keep your current phone service active until the transfer is complete to avoid losing your number. When the port is completed, Ooma will confirm with a test call and a final email.
