About 3 weeks ago I paid the 39.99 fee to transfer my original number to ooma and I have not heard anything yet. How do i get notified it is in effect and when? I want to cancel my old carrier.

You should have gotten an email with the date of the switch. However; like you I never got that email. I called costumer service and they told me the date.
