porting number notice to disconect

Post by mmale2817 » Mon Nov 08, 2010 12:39 pm

If I port my AT&T number, will this serve as notice of disconect, or is there further action required? Also, I wish to keep my AT&T DSL and go to a closed loop, will I get notice of the date for porting so I can arange the install of the closed loop?

Porting your landline number over will cancel the landline account on the day of port completion but it wouldn't hurt to confirm by calling AT&T.
