Ooma to Ooma Not Forwarding?

Ooma to Ooma Not Forwarding?

I have my line set to dual ring, which has been working great! Call my Ooma number and my Telo Handset and cell phone ring simultaneously.

UNTIL....

I've got a colleague with an Ooma Telo. We realized today that when he calls me from his Ooma, the dual ring does not work. The Telo handset rings, but not the cell phone. He tried calling from a different phone and dual ring worked perfectly, as it has been for every other call (that I know of).

A quick search of the forums didn't reveal a similar discussion, but any pointers are welcome if this is already an identified issue. I do not know if this started with the recent firmware updates or not; we are both on 41189.

This is a known limitation and is there to protect against call forwarding loops and it's been there since Multi-Ring was rolled out.

Thanks bw1... obviously some complexity of implementation that doesn't make sense to me.

Ooma - to - Ooma functionality seems like the first thing you would want to make work, doesn't it?
