Telo DECT/wifi

Post by 3034943344 » Fri Oct 08, 2010 9:48 am

My question concerns radio signals.
is my Telo transmitting radio signals via the DECT architecture waiting to locate a Telo handset?
Is there any additional wireless transmission emitting from the Telo?
If so, can this be configured (turned on/turned off)?

If you do not have a Telo handset registered with the base there should be no transmissions from the base.
The antenna key (upper right corner) has to be held for 5 seconds to initiate the registration process.
Once an Ooma handset is registered the base and handset will communicate with each other on a regular basis.

To add bluetooth capability you have to plug an Ooma BT adapter into the USB port on the base.

WiFi (2.4 GHz and/or 5.8 GHz) is not involved.
