Assume that line 1 is not being used.
When using my telo handset, how do I choose line 2 to make an outbound call?

Lines and phone numbers are not the same thing on ooma systems - but what you want to do, I presume, is pass your second number's CID on the call. Simple step: press **1 and you will receive a confirmation stutter dialtone - then dial the number as you normally would. The outgoing CID will be set as the second number. You can also use a similar code to force the first number, even if the first line is in use. Pressing **0 gives you the first CID when dialing. If you have more than two numbers, for number 3 press **2, for number 4 press **3 and for number 5 press **4.
Note that when calling using these other CID's your system may still use Line 1 if no other calls are in progress. Again, the Line number and phone number are only loosely related.
