Record a call

Post by jviola » Tue Jul 06, 2010 6:09 am

I'm waiting for an important medical call to come. How can I record the call so that I can play it for my daughter when she gets off work.

ooma systems do not have a call recording functiion. You can pick up an innexpensive recording pickup at Radio Shack if you have a cassette recorder. Or, if you have Google Voice and have the Doctor's office call your GV number, you can record it that way.

You can't record the call with your Ooma while you're listening to the caller, but since you have Premier, you can send the caller to voicemail to leave a message by pressing the envelope button on the Telo or a Telo handset.

Thanks, I called back and gave them my Google Voice phone number. Hopefully, they will call on GV.
