Number Porting w/Premier

Post by The Picard » Mon Nov 23, 2009 7:14 pm

Okay, I signed up for a year of Premier service with the offer of a free number port. The problem is that I now want to port my number and I'm not sure what path to take to ensure that it's actually free. There are only two selections available when attempting to port. There are the one time $39 fee option, or the Premier service with a free port for $119. Well, seeing as I already did the Premier sign-up and there was no email or link to follow to get the free port, I'm not sure what route to take. Do I select the $39 port option and hope that Ooma will actually NOT charge me?

If you already have Premier and request a port, they will not charge you for the port if you also did not request a Telo handset.
Customer since January 2009
Telo with 2 Handsets, a Linx, and a Safety Phone
Telo2 with 2 Handsets and a Linx

Unfortunately, you may need to call CS to get the $39.99 refunded.

DOH! Defeat, snatched from the jaws of victory. I'll have to check my credit card activity and make sure it's not been charged.

Excellent! You can call me Jeff, for short. "The Picard" is from one of my favorite Star Trek: TNG episodes in which Captain Picard was revered as a God. Seeing as my last name is actually Picard, I couldn't resist.
