I hame noticed since my Ooma is connected between my cable modem and router that it simply turns red and goes offline which also shuts down my internet access. It keeps happening about 2-3 times a week for the last 3 months. I have Astound Broadband with 18 megs of throughput and the modem has all of its lights on so I know it isn't the problem. I just have to power cycle the Ooma and it works fine but the interruptions are bothersome. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone else have a solution to fix this problem?

Log into the ooma configuration page
and click the radio button that says to use the built-in MAC address and then click update.
Power cycle your modem.
