Computer Browser Stalls, Stops, Freezes or takes a long time to access certain Internet sites, while the Ooma Telo is functioning just fine.

This sometimes happens after Internet Security scans, Norton Utilities scans, or with other Virus scans, or just with years of computer service.

The following procedure may help.

Flush the computer DNS and reset the Winsock.

Computer Dos Commands:
1. Click on Computer Start button > Then Click on Run. The Run window opens, type cmd in blank and click on OK.
2. In the DOS window that opens, at the command prompt, type the following and press Enter after each line:
a. ipconfig /flushdns [and hit Enter]
3. At the command prompt, type the following and press Enter after each line:
a. netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt [and hit Enter]
b. netsh winsock reset [and hit Enter]
c. exit [and hit Enter]
4. If entries were correct, the DOS window will say, “Restart the computer”.
a. Restart your computer.
b. Test using your computer browser to access various sites.

Also, if your are connected Modem/Ooma/Router, be sure to enter both upstream and downstream when values for QOS in ooma telo setup. When I first connected this way I only entered upstream QOS value, and I had the same problems you described. Entering both upstream and downstream values fixed it for me.
