What version of firmware is installed in your Ooma Telo?

One way to find this is to:
Using the HD2 handset, Click on Menu.

Using the Navigation Pad bar, click on the About Handset (circle i) icon, then press the select button located in the middle of the Navigation bar.

Base version: is the Ooma Telo firmware version.

HS version: is the HD2 handset firmware version.


Check for the version of Ooma Telo firmware that you have by Dialing *#*#001 in a phone connected to the Ooma Telo Phone port. The firmware version audio comes out of your Ooma Telo Speaker after dialing *#*#001 in one of your phones.


Find the Ooma Telo firmware version by accessing Ooma Setup by typing in the computer browser window, computer that is connected to the Ooma Telo Home port, or computer that is connected to a router that is connected to the Ooma Telo Home port, and viewing it at the upper left hand corner of the first window that opens.

If you receive Ooma Telo firmware update 63430 and suddenly your HD1 (old) handset(s) stops working, or your HD2 (new) handset(s) stop working, do the following.

Dial one of the following using a phone connected to the Ooma Telo Phone port:

*#*#301 - switches to the old Ooma Telo handset firmware
*#*#302 - switches to the new HD2 Ooma Telo handset firmware

If the Ooma Telo eventually does a reboot, then it was in the other mode. The reboot is an indication that you have changed handset modes.

Please report in this thread if you have to use this procedure.

Yay new firmware.. hope this fixes the phantom echo issues I've had from time to time.. after days of either a powered off telco or powered on non-use it seems the FIRST call almost always had a problem, then it self corrected on the second call.. seems like it would be a firmware issue more than anything. Will see... haven't had an issue yet..
