Has anyone had an emergency of some sort and needed to call 911?

I would be curious to hear your input on Ooma's performance during this situation.

I test-dialed 911 since I don't like to wait for emergencies. The dispatcher had my name, address, and phone number, just like she's supposed to.

Same here - they had my name and address correct.

BUT... you really NEED to verify this before an emergency. DO NOT call 911 until you first call the local police non-emergency (7-digit) number and explain what you'd like to do. I assume most police stations are becoming aware of this need to check with VOIP phones.
