Port time from T-Mobile

Post by 1kenthomas » Tue Nov 29, 2011 4:32 pm

I submitted a port request from T-Mobile on Nov 1, still not done. Got an email from OOMA today that says estimated completion has been pushed back to 23rd of DECEMBER. Is this normal?

Don't think it is abnormal but probably out of norm :)

You probably got "Number port is estimated to complete on or before...."

There is still hope yet that the date would be brought up.

When you get the "Your port is scheduled to complete on..." By then, that date is pretty much it.

Hmm... this is my second "your port is estimated" email, with an estimation date 3 weeks later than the first. I though cell carriers were now required to complete ports within a short period?

In any case, I do have the direct # for T-Mobile's porting department, so (alas) it may be time to give them a call...

1 877 789 3106 is T-Mobile's number porting center, by-the-way.
