I have had Ooma for about a month. I have my old cordless system plugged to the Telo base. It worked fine for the first few weeks. However, I now cannot get a dial tone to make outgoing calls (the "line in use" light on the base comes on) on my cordless sets. I can receive calls, but they drop off much more often than the Telo handsets.

I'd use a DECT 6 phone. Older cordless phones can interfere with your router, ooma.

Remove power from your Modem. Repower the Modem.

Then next try the 20 minutes unpowered Ooma device, then repower the Ooma device.

Also remove power from the cordless phone base while the Ooma is unpowered, then repower the cordless phone base.

I unplugged the Ooma base itself for a few seconds and plugged it back in. The problem went away.
