Hub and Faxing

Post by Mike K » Thu Sep 22, 2011 3:55 pm

I found the following on a post from a few months ago:

A few weeks ago all Telos received fax tone detection support, which allows the Telo to change to an uncompressed codec when a fax call is detected. As a result of this change, the manual fax mode parameter is no longer needed. We're in the process of updating the documentation to reflect this change.Bobby B

My question: Does this apply for a Hub too?

Also, I'd appreciate recommendations of printers that consistently work for faxing. I've made note of some from other posts, but they're over a year old

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I had an HP Officejet all-in-one printer a couple of years ago that did not work with the Hub.

My reply was too brief.
Hubs automatically detect the fax tone on an incoming fax.
It is necessary to dial *99 prior to dialing an outgoing fax connection.
