Question about Call Statistics

Post by EA PA » Thu Aug 18, 2011 12:24 pm

Using My OOMA, in the Dashboard, Calling Statistics there is a field below named Total Number of Calls and Total Duration of Calls.

Does anyone know what the basis of these total numbers are?

Nature of confusion:

In Support area, Call Logs section, https://ooma.custhelp.com/app/answers/d ... Statistics

It states that “you can see the total number and duration of calls that have been made to date with OOMA”. My data on Dashboard does not appear to be this, nor does it appear that it is tied to favorite callers.

However, it also states later on, that call logs are only available for 60 days.

How is the number of calls and duration of calls calculated? Might it be a rolling average tied to the 60 day call log? Or maybe (and better) a 30 day rolling average?

I’m trying to find out my monthly minutes used.

Thanks

lbmofo - thanks - what is your basis? I know its not the 60 day call log - number of calls total does not match. Past 30 day seems reasonable but I could not find any basis for this assumption - did you find info in Support area somewhere that I could not find? Or use a calculator to your minutes? I would have calculated myself, but the number of calls is scary - like over 500

I just remember that stat section was actually named "30 day stat."

Also, a quick total of minutes for past 30 days line up with the dashboard number.
