900 and generally third party billing?

Post by Pandora » Fri Apr 03, 2009 6:11 pm

I'm very satisfied with Ooma. My landline has 900 call blocking, and my kids wireless prohibits third party billing.

I'm wondering does Ooma prohibit third party billing, 900 numbers and other "extra charge" numbers?

I don't want any sudden surprise bills.

From the Knowledgebase:

900 or 976 calls

ooma does not support 900 or 976 calls. Calling these numbers can result in costly, unexpected charges, so ooma has been designed to block these calls.

I would think that they would prevent other third party billing also.
