I seldom cringe. That's one of the things my dear old grammer -- rest her soul -- taught me (along with spelling and grammar). :cool:
After review, perhaps “cringe” was not the best choice of words. “Hot button” may be better. After all I am the typical American, if I may quote;

Professor Higgins was right -- "by rights they should be taken out and hung / For the cold-blooded murder of the English tongue".
