how do i know my phone is working with the new system. I paid the fee for portage of my current number, I know i must wait for the actual portage to accure, but when do i call ATT and cancell their service?. All the lights are blue and lit up on my telo, am i surpose to see a green light Ever to know to discontinue ATT? and must i have a telo phone to utilize the second line.

You do not have to wait for the port to complete to use Ooma.
If all ot the lights are blue you should be able to use it now.
The AT&T account should be automatically closed when the number is ported away from them.
There is a place in your my.ooma.com account that tells you the status of the port.

Will tell you your port status. If you don't see anything, you didn't order number porting. Go here to order Number Port: https://my.ooma.com/products

Don't tell AT&T about anything. Only call after porting complete to make sure your account is cancelled.
