non-stop call

non-stop call

my phone is ringing every 30 seconds. caller id says unknown. it only rings once. i picked it up quickly and heard a dial tone. i've talked to 3 techs and no results. anyone else have this problem?

How is your setup configured? Modem-Ooma device-Router? or Modem-Router-Ooma device?

Have you done cold boots on your modem, than next device (Ooma or Router), than next (Router or Ooma)?

If you disconnect your network cable from your Ooma device, does the calling stop?

i got the problem fixed. had to get a temp #. cannot run old voip thru ooma. ooma keeps trying to update and causes the ring.

If you keep using your phone number as your login name here, you're opening yourself to getting lots of unwanted calls. Call ooma customer service and pick something else.
