Porting Problem

Porting Problem

Initiated a port request on 10/29. Paid $40 fee.
Port status page says port estimated to complete on 11/12.
Today is 12/4. Number still not ported.
Landline provider, Qwest, says they have not received a request.
Two calls to Ooma tech support: my issue has been "elevated" and I just need to wait.

Any suggestions?

Wow, I am sorry to hear your porting has taken so long and still has not completed. We ordered Ooma Premiere and the $40 porting value was free with 1 year of Premiere. Our port thankfully went smoothly and took 20 days (including weekends) to complete from the time we submitted our LoA. We scanned a copy of our phone bill and submitted that as well with our LoA so maybe that helped speed things up. We were with AT&T so I don't know if that makes any difference.

I guess the only thing I can suggest is try contacting the porting team directly, the first part of their email address is "loa" instead of "support". Also you may want to send them a copy of your current Qwest phone bill at a scan resolution of 150dpi or higher. Best of luck.
