I've had my Ooma for over 6 months and people still say my calls show up on their caller IDs as 'out of area' and then my phone number. I've had the Premium so shouldn't it show my name?

I had called the Ooma 800 support number several months ago and I thought they said they'd take care of it but it's still not showing my name. Can someone advise?

Oh ok, I get ya. Sorry about that.

I searched for my number and this is what it states:

+1-xxx-xxx-xxxx - [ File #xxxxxxxxxx ] - xxxxxxxxxxx was last accessed on Nov-19-2010. (viewed 1 time)

I found my number. What does that mean? I've never looked at it so don't know who viewed it once.

Current Telephone Company: ALEC, Inc. and why doesn't the caller ID state my name?

Who the heck is ALEC, Inc.???

It just means that the number was searched on once. You just did.
Did your name show up or no name at all? No name doesn't really mean anything. It just means didn't update their database.
