Does Ooma also prioritize other SIP traffic too?

Post by thecgmguy » Tue Nov 16, 2010 3:37 pm

I have an Ooma Telo base station deployed between my cable modem and router.

I have a SIP phone for work. Before ooma, I was manually adjusting QOS rules on the router to prioritize outbound traffic for the phone. Do I still need to do that now that Ooma is in front of everything?

Leaving the router QoS setup for the SIP phone exactly as before would be the way to go.
