I was in Ooma lounge earlier. Then I couldn't get in for about the last 20 minutes. Every time I tried to log in I got "invalid login". Now it works again.

But I have a different problem, that started at the same time. When I call my number, it immediately goes to voicemail. Also, the phones in my house say to "check line".

I wonder if something is going on?

Incoming and outgoing calls work for me here in Washington. Frank1 are you in the middle of porting or could something else be going on?

The problem is I'm not at home right now. I called Ooma and they tried to connect to my hub remotely to view the logs, but couldn't reach the hub. Which could mean no internet connection or no power at my house.

I'm going to have to wait until I get home to troubleshoot. It might be my internet connection is down or something.

I'll call Ooma back once I am at home, because I need to be at the equipment location to do further troubleshooting.

Just for clarity, this morning I couldn't get into the Lounge, said "invalid password". Phone worked fine, though. I just tried now and lounge works again.

Just called home again. Ooma is now working. Must have been some kind of hiccup. I don't think the issue was on my side, because people were at my home using the internet fine the whole time this was occurring. Also, power was not out.

I did have my number ported yesterday. The number was out of service most of the day, but last night and this morning it was working fine. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

On a positive note. When I called Ooma support, I was talking to a live technician within about 20 seconds.

Another positive. I requested a number port on 5/16/2009. Received notification number was scheduled to be ported on 5/22/2009, for a port date of 06/04/2009. On 06/04/2009 port was started around 10:00 am and completed around 4:00 pm (during which time number was dead). So basically, 19 business days end-to-end to complete number porting. Not bad.

Another positive. The call quality is better than my landline.
