I just activated my Telo, and am awaiting a port over from Vonage.

In some basic 'testing' last night, and connected a phone to the Telo. And when you turn on the phone, your greeted with the ooma chime.

Some google searches indicated you can disable that in your account, but I do not see that option under the Preferences | System as mentioned.

Also, can someone confirm if the end caller will also hear a various music chime when they first pickup?

Hello,

If you are referring to the chime when you pickup the phone for dialtone, this cannot be disabled - it is our trademark dialtone.

The connect dialtone currently shows as being disabled.
