Another issue with Ooma. I have tried to port my number and the web site says technical issues and is down. For how long? The deeper I get into Ooma the more red flags go up. They have my $349 now not including the cost of the telo. I think I've made a mistake.

Call costumer support if you can't initiate your port online. Not sure why the website isn't working for you, but I assure you there are a lot of folks on here who have successfully ported our numbers to Ooma. Of course it will take some time after the request as the company currently holding your number takes their sweet time to release it.
Back when I ported it was an email, so can't speak directly to the web form. But I'm sure you'll get the port started by giving CS a call.
