my boss has wireless internet service to his house.He tried ooma a year ago will not work has anything change has anyone used ooma on wireless internet to your house?

oh i am not talking about router his actual internet service is wireless received to an out side ant then feed toa router.

I use to have a wireless ISP and it worked fine (had to move away from this as my node became oversubscribed and was worthless during peak hours). Have him run the test from here http://www.whichvoip.com/voip/speed_test/ppspeed.html and post the results for us to look at. The big issue with wireless is latency. Sometimes I noticed that the call would be delayed when I had wireless (similar to a cell phone). Wired connections are still preferred but with the introduction of PureVoice here in the future, wireless/Ooma may be more usable with VoIP.
