my guess they may have rolled some dice
- ooma should offer the Telo at $149
- ooma should offer other plan than premium ( at least 4 different plan)
--- Basic with only free phone call (no extra charge)
--- something cheaper ( like only voice mail) ( cheaper than premium)
--- Elite ( with many extra features..like upgrade insurance....) (more expensive than premium)
- upgrade insurance , the customer will always get within x month the latest hardware.
and you can even make these plan top secret only for people in the know so they can tell their friend...
hey ooma contact me next time before you roll dice for pricing
If i keep brain storming like that I should open my own VOIP company
Actually they do offer 3 different plan already
Basic "free" of fee
Enhanced voicemail (may also be purchased a la cart for $4.99/mo)
still need to add a very exclusive plan with a lot of features, cause I'm sure many customer don't feel conformable saving to much money with ooma
