Second OOMA tone upon connection

Post by jchilde » Thu Sep 10, 2009 5:34 pm

When I first pickup the phone, I get the ooma tone. This is expected; however, at the point the call connects, I get the same tone again. The first time this happened, I initially thought the call was dropped.

Is this something that is by design? The connection tone is somewhat annoying because it is much quieter than the tone when you pickup the phone. It almost sounds like an artifact.

At the very least, I would like to be able to turn it off.

Ooma lounge/preferances/system.
You can disable it there.

Thanks for the help.

After trying this, have found that I cannot disable the tone, it still remains upon connection, if the connection actually goes through.

The tone has gone away now. It took some time; however, for this to occur.

any changes take 3 min. to update system/hub or telo base units and sometimes a base reboot/power cycle is needed
