My idea is to have the option to transfer a call during a call. For example, person with phone number 111-111-1111 calls person with ooma hub 222-222-2222. The person with ooma could transfer the call to their cell phone 333-333-3333 mid-call.

I don't care so much about being able to transfer the call as I'd like to have one of those COOL numbers! Maybe (777) 777-7777 :razz:

Mobile transfer is supposed to be coming with the Telo. However, I don't know if it's an upgrade that will be available for the original hub also.

I believe so, but I guess we'll have to wait and see for sure. I thought I read a Buchanan twitter that mentioned it also.

Hi - I was wondering if anyone knew if this feature was finally added? I didn't see it in the normal setup guide directions for features. The call transfer option was something I enjoyed with Vonage, but didn't know if there was a special * dial code that was needed or if anyone knew how?

There isn't a way to transfer calls mid call; there is a feature where you can send someone to voicemail mid call.

As of beginning of this year, these numbers are available to you:

There are some closer to the (777) 777-7777 in the 253 area code

253 6667777
253 6668888
253 6669999

These guys charge a service fee for getting one of these numbers to you on a SIM, in your name. I found out the scoop just because I was curious....they are >= $100, I think the 253 ones are like $300+ I guess if you are in business and want a vanity number, it might be worth it.
