I have a ST Jude pacemaker monitor that does not work with my OOMA system. Is there any equipment or fixes available or is my only option to go back to my previous phone service?

Are you hooking this device up directly to the "phone" port of Ooma?
Can you modify the dialing digits to dial *99 first before the actual phone number?

Seems Biotronik does the monitoring via wireless/cellular network, maybe answer for you if phone line doesn't work http://cdn.intechopen.com/pdfs/13778/In ... makers.pdf

I wonder if you would go into My Ooma at https://my.ooma.com/phone_numbers and click on the device you are using and choose either the mode Fax Machine or Alarm System. After you choose and Save, you will have to wait for about 5 minutes for the Ooma Servers to update before trying.
You know when the Fax mode is selected because there is no Ooma Dial tone heard on the phone, just a plain dial tone.
