I just called support for a technical issue.

The rep offered PREMIER at $60.00 per year instead of the $9.99 monthly I was paying.

He said it can only be done if you call support and not offered in your "MyOoma" online account.

I just called and tried to get this deal. After 5 minutes of discussion, and the rep asking others, no deal. He said it is only for new subscribers who paid for porting. Any other suggestions?

Below is my billing info....as you can see it was changed today to yearly at $60.00. And it will start after my month I just paid for. Base service tier: Ooma Core (U.S.)

We regret to inform you that the $60 Premier Annual promotion is only applicable during the first year of subscription. Ooma customers who ported their numbers over to Ooma and have not yet signed up for Premier are the only ones qualified for the said promotion.

I wonder how many basic service subscribers would consider premier service if the rate is lower to $60/yr?
I really don't need all the extra features, but for $5/month, I will do it.

I am a new, so far very happy customer. My new phone # was ported in record time and everything works perfectly. I comply with the new customer and just paid to have my phone ported mentioned in this thread but when I call up the customer rep he said that the $60.00 promotion does not include the free extended warranty and that I would have to purchase that separately for $39.99. This in effect only reduces the yearly subscription by $20.00 and now does not seem like a fantastic savings. Saving $60.00 I was ready to purchase premier and get my extended warranty. With just $20.00 savings I will try out my free period of premier to see if I feel it is worth it.
