I recently purchased an Ooma system and like it so I bought the one year of premier service to start my number porting. Everything is going fine, but I still have 3 weeks left in the port process. I called customer support to see if the number Im porting can be displayed on the caller ID (since they can verify it is my number and that number is forwarded to my temporary ooma number), but I was told that it would cost $11.99. This made me kind of upset that I just paid $99 and I can't have my caller ID changed for now. I would like to request this as a feature for the porting process. The temporary number confuses people in my family and they have anonymous call block so I cant just block my number.

They did put in a trouble ticket to request this for me for free, but I have to wait another 24-48 hours to find out. It should be a normal option.
