Contact syncing had been work fine until about a month ago when I added a new contact and in fails to sync. I've just added a second Telo HS and the previous batch of contacts sync'd but the 2 new additions do not appear on either of the HSs.

Any thoughts on how this can be resolved?

Check your contact list to see if any entry has anything other than numbers and letters. I once added an apostrophe (') to one of the names in my list and the contacts stopped syncing. Once I removed it things started syncing again.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

tomcat is correct - this is a bug in our system if you have special characters in your contacts.

Thanks for the quick response.

No, there are no special character. I even created a contact named: A Test; Friendly name: ATest; Phone 3035555555.

Still no sync.

Any dashes in the contact names?

Nope. The entry was as simple as I could make it

First Name: A
Last Name: Test
Display Name: ATest
Mobile: 3035555555

That's it. Pure, simple, nada mas. Clicked SYNC, went to the Telo HS and sync'd. No change. Now, 2 days later and still no update.

He wasn't asking about your test entry. He was asking about all of your other entries. There can't be anything other than letters and numbers in all of the entries.

I just verified all 13 contacts. None of the contact names or phone numbers have special characters other than the Parentheses and the dashes that ooma inserted.

Contact syncing works OK when I have hyphens in it, so I think something else is causing the syncing to fail on your Telo.

You have two Telos - does contact list syncing work OK on your other Telo?

Not saying it wasn't done, but another way of checking the integrity of the contacts is to download the file, then check with a editor that shows all ASCII codes. To download, logon to My Ooma. Go to contacts. Click "more" dropdown list, select download.
