Was so pleased with Ooma that I promptly terminated my association with Verizon. Did so a couple days prior to the end of my billing cycle.

Today I got my "FINAL BILL" With it comes the stern warning "To avoid referral to an outside collection agency, the full amount is due upon receipt"

That's nice to know but the bill shows a credit due me. Only when you look at the very small print do you find an entry saying "Return not required. Your refund check should arrive within 5 business days"

Guess they want to cover both bases at once. A warning and a refund notice published together. And they wonder why customers say good riddance?

Make sure you let them know you had better get your money in 5 days or you'll be sending them to BBB!
