I'm a new Ooma user for a couple of weeks. My Ooma is set up between my Motorola Cable modem and my DLink router. The phone calls are fine (so far) and the quality is OK. I switched over from Vonage so I'm used to poorer quality sound.

The problem is that my internet upload speed drops to zilch when making a call with Ooma. Download speeds aren't as affected. I never had this problem with Vonage, but I had their device hooked to my router.

Any suggestions to improve or is this just the way it is? :shock:
