I know Telco users can enable fax mode via the website but Customer Service mentioned Hub users do not have that opportunity. Under "manage phone number" that is not an option on my account.

With the Ooma Telo unit:

Go To:

Select Preferences

Select Phone number on Left side menu.

Click on your phone number shown: either line 1 (or Line 2 if you have it)

The Header of pop up menu will be "Manage phone numbers"

No Enable Fax Mode checkbox

The hub does not need fax mode. It automatically detects an incoming fax and switches to fax mode.
Both boxes need you to dial *99 before sending a fax.
