I am seeking to move a line from Vonage to Ooma.
To do so, I will also need to acquire the service of a Ooma 800 number
for a modest price, so that people can call the 800 number and it will
automatically forward to my Ooma line.
Does this exist, what does it cost and when will it be available ???
Sorry, no. We only provide US numbers (non toll free).

You could easily get 800-numbers from a third-party provider and have that provider set them to ring on your Ooma number.
I used to have one at http://pioneertelephone.com/
. $1/month for the number and 3 cents a minute for the calls. I'm sure there are other options.
Ooma customer since November 2009.
Formerly employed at another VoIP company.
My opinions are my own.
