Local Numbers in Foreign Countries

Post by phxsmasmag » Tue Nov 16, 2010 3:45 pm

I am looking to move a phone line from Vonage to Ooma but to do so I
will need to acquire the service from Ooma (which Vonage provides me)
of setting me up with a local phone number in Mexico City which automaticlly
forwards to my USA Ooma phone.
Does this service exist, what is the cost, when will it be available ???

No, at this time neither ooma nor Google voice offer this service.

Yes. This service is already existed (for a few years) with some prepaid pinless services. You just check out those catering specific for Mexican callers.

However, these shops come and go, so be careful with your money.
