I try have been trying to call a friend, but only get "the number is not accepting anonymous calls". I looked under settings and I Don't have the check by the anonymous box. Any suggestions? I can use my cell phone and the call goes through.

Try having your friend enter your Ooma phone number in his/her phone directory. That may solve the problem. I read elsewhere in the forum it can take several days for your new caller id info to propagate through all the systems.

When you call your cell phone from your Ooma line, what shows on the cell phone's caller ID display?

When I call my cell phone it show my ooma phone number..... really wierd. I did finally get through to my friend using ooma, I switched cordless handsets to make the call. It only happens on one of my cordless units. Thanks for the input..
